Tradeworks Training Society

Tradeworks Training Society (TRADEWORKS) is a non-profit society dedicated to providing unemployed youth at risk with job and life skills training and support to secure employment. TRADEWORKS is located in Vancouver's downtown eastside where many of its clients live. With its successful track record of helping people attain meaningful work, and with the increasing numbers of unemployed youth, TRADEWORKS seeks to expand its service to assist more unemployed, particularly those with employment barriers. Our aim is to "provide youth with skills, training and knowledge to enhance their quality of life and foster sustainable independence".

Why does TRADEWORKS exist?

We all know that our children are our future, yet the number of youth at risk in our cities and other communities continues to increase dramatically.
